The Austrian Dockner family is a true, traditional wine family. The history of this winery dates back to the 19th century, when they settled in the village of Theyern. Son Tom Dockner is the driving force behind this winery. In 2007, he took over from his father when Tom was 22 years old. This was also the moment when a more natural approach was chosen for the vineyard. For example, Tom started using natural compost and allows the diversity of plants and herbs to grow freely in the vineyard to stimulate the ecosystem.
