"Una empresa familiar" (a family business), and that's exactly what it is. Founded in 1970 in Epila, belonging to the IGP Valdejalón in Zaragoza. Currently the only winery here alongside Frontonio, also managed by Mario López. They are located about 500 to 600 meters above sea level and are about 40 kilometers from Campo de Borja & Calatayud. Since 2020, they are fully organic certified and biodynamic practices are already being implemented to guarantee a good and healthy (soil) life in the future.
Description: High intensity in both aroma and taste, saline, a hint of toast, stony, fine bitterness, fresh bread, and citrus freshness.
Pairs well with: Red snapper, salmon, tuna, grilled vegetables.
Fun fact: The vines are approximately 40 years old, aged for 10 months in 600-liter French oak (20% new).
