Towards the end of the 18th century, engineer Giacomo Guglielmi began building the Jago farms around the estate's center, which most likely dates back to the early 18th century. After the farms, construction of the villa and the Italian garden began. The Italian garden still exists and perfectly frames the beautiful villa. The farms, located behind the villa, are perfect examples of rural construction in Valpolicella and were built using local tuff stone. After a long transformation from a farm to a prestigious wine producer, Villa Spinosa has become a modern and efficient winery in the Valpolicella Classica region, recognized for the high quality of its wine production.

Fun fact: The wine first matures in steel tanks until April, then for 12 months in old French barrels, and then for 12 months in old Slovenian barrels.
