Rino Sottimano started his dream in the early seventies, after studying oenology, with a vineyard in the Barbaresco DOCG. In total, he now has 20 ha of vineyards, all different Cru Barbarescos (Currà, Cottà, Fausoni, Pajorè and Basarin), Nebbiolo, Dolcetto and Barbera. Rino has always believed in working in the vineyard to produce great wines. And that is why, from the beginning, he has always tried to avoid chemicals and herbicides, so as not to disturb the natural balance of our hills.
Description: Fresh, hibiscus, rhubarb, strawberry, beautiful structure with medium tannins.
Pairs well with: Various pasta dishes with meat or vegetarian, duck, pork cheek.
Fun fact: Nowadays, Rino is joined by his children Andrea, Elena and Claudia, and they all work together, running the vineyard and cellar with passion and dedication.
