Rino Sottimano started pursuing his dream in the early 1970s, after studying oenology, to establish a vineyard in the Barbaresco DOCG. He now owns a total of 20 hectares of vineyards, including various Cru Barbarescos (Currà, Cottà, Fausoni, Pajorè and Basarin), Nebbiolo, Dolcetto and Barbera. Rino has always believed in working in the vineyard to produce great wines. And so, from the very beginning, he has always tried to avoid chemicals and herbicides, so as not to disturb the natural balance of our hills.
Description: Dark colour, red fruit, mineral, long finish and spicy.
Pairs well with: Pasta dishes with meat or mushrooms.
Fun fact: For over 40 years, the family has taken special care of our vineyards, with the utmost respect for the land and always observing certified organic practices.
