Red and white Christmas hamper

Still doubting between red or white for the Christmas table? Why not both? At Lof, we have now put together a Christmas gift set with two generous wines. One white and one red.

White: Simon Faure Saint-Véran
Chardonnay from the Mâconnais, where winemaker Simon Faure makes his wines without additives, letting the limestone terroir speak for itself. In the glass, you will find ripe pear and blossom, with a fresh, mineral finish. A lively white wine that pairs well with fish and poultry, but is also excellent to drink as an aperitif.

Red: Le Devay 'Côte Levant' Syrah
This Syrah comes from the Rhône estate Le Devay, where winemaker Jean-Charles Fournet works on schist soils. The wine has aromas of red fruit and herbs, with a tight structure and a long finish. Delicious with lamb, game, or other hearty meat dishes.
