Christophe, despite having been chairman of the La Clape winemakers for 15 years, remained the son of. But now, 20 years after his father's retirement, he himself was elected president of CIVL Languedoc in 2022: a dog's job in a hornet's nest full of gossip, scheming, jealousy, and conflicting interests. But he does it, called upon as an enfant du pays to unite and defend the region.
Description: Rich aroma of ripe red fruits with herbs and notes of garrigue (Mediterranean herbs such as rosemary and thyme), combined with elegant, integrated tannins and an energetic, fresh acidity.
Pairs well with: Confit de canard, wild boar and venison, stew, aged hard cheeses.
Fun fact: Ready to drink now, but also definitely worth keeping for another 7 years after the harvest.
