Champagne O.Belin is a traditional champagne house located in Essômes-sur-Marne, in the heart of the Marne Valley. Since its establishment in 1957, it has been managed by Olivier Belin, a fifth-generation winegrower and oenologist. He manages 8 hectares of vineyards spread across 17 plots, with a focus on sustainable viticulture and respect for the terroir. Olivier Belin is known for his dedication to the Meunier grape variety, which accounts for 60% of his plantings, alongside 30% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir.
Description: Fresh, full summer fruit, raspberry, strawberry, rich mousse.
Pairs well with: Aperitif, oysters, light cold starters, dessert.
Fun fact: From a plot planted in 1961 by Olivier's grandfather. This cuvée is produced via direct maceration and does not undergo malolactic fermentation, resulting in an expressive and characterful wine.
