Mas des Bressades is a 45-hectare family estate in the Costières de Nîmes, run by Cyril Marès, the third generation. The estate is certified organic and produces powerful, Mediterranean wines from Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Vermentino on the pebble-galets soils of the Rhône Delta. The Tradition Blanc is a blend of Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, and Clairette — fermented and aged in stainless steel for a fresh, aromatic style.
Description: Fresh and aromatic, with aromas of white flowers, citrus, ripe apple, and a light herbal undertone of garrigue. Lively and juicy on the palate, with refreshing acidity and a clean, pleasant finish.
Pairs well with: Grilled fish, aioli, pizza blanche, Provençal vegetable dishes, or as a patio aperitif.
Fun fact: The Costières de Nîmes are geographically closer to the Rhône than to the Languedoc, but have only recently been truly 'discovered'. The soils are almost identical to those of Châteauneuf-du-Pape — pebbles that store heat and release it slowly.
