Rioja Viña Ilusión is the result of the positive and incorrigible romantic Martin Andrés Alonso Etayo, who enjoys the fact that his village Calahorra has become a balanced biotope (permaculture Fukuoka), a village where he can make a collective organic wine that everyone can afford, that everyone loves. They produce wine from a vineyard that practices organic and biodynamic farming and has created an entire ecosystem that sustains itself during the growth process. They have also planted olive trees, a vegetable garden and fruit trees.
Description: Elegant, no oak, cherries, blackberries, juicy, nice acidity and full-bodied.
Goes well with: Veal tongue, poultry, soft cheeses and as an aperitif.
Fun fact: They practice 'do nothing' farming - with as little human intervention as possible, which means their wines contain low levels of sulphur and other chemicals.
