Benoît Marguet is one of the most talented champagne producers of the last decade. Fully biodynamic, spiritual, natural winemaking, all oak-aged, zero sulfites, zero sugar, pure, crisp, energetic. All wines are aged in old wood, convinced that this is the original form. Of course, you might have an opinion on this or even raise an eyebrow. The fact is: Marguet's wines are ridiculously good and unique.
Description: Very rich and floral with peach, stone fruit, but also chalk, the wine is concentrated and has an oily structure.
Pairs well with: As an aperitif if you like some power, but also with fattier fish or vegetable dishes.
Fun fact: Ambonnay is the village in Champagne where Marguet is located, and the grapes for this wine also come from there.
