Marc Tempé ' Riesling Amzelle 2021 '

Marc started in the municipality of Zellenberg about 25 years ago. He bought an ancient wine estate (built in the 18th century) against the foothills of the Vosges. In 1995, Tempé invested in large oak foudres, from small to almost 6000 liters. Marc loves tradition. He is very clear about this when it comes to vinification. To use his own words: "Zéro trucage" (no tricks). Everything is done with minimal intervention and as few machines as possible. The only machine on the estate is the press. Some wines are released relatively late, for the simple reason that they ferment and mature in foudres for more than 2 years. The use of sulfites is minimal; only for bottling is some sulfite added to protect the wine.

Description: Tamed acidity, flint, smoky, Burgundian full finish.

Pairs well with: Asian dishes, fish, and chicken.
