In the village of Mantry, in the heart of the Jura, Jean-Luc Mouillard, along with his wife Annie and son Mathieu, runs an eleven-hectare family estate. The vineyards are spread across five villages and three appellations: Côtes du Jura, L'Étoile, and Château-Chalon. Jean-Luc started with one and a half hectares in 1990 and gradually expanded the estate. The vines grow on clay, marl, and limestone soils, and since the 2023 harvest, the estate has been fully organically certified. Mouillard has a precise and balanced style with a traditional character, all originating from the old 16th-century cellars.
