After a career in science, Henri le Roy decided to buy an estate in the village of Vincelles, close to JF Ganevat! He immediately gained access to a handful of exceptional plots such as 'Les Clous' and 'Derrière la Roche' on the famous marne bleu terroir. This results in a very beautiful, pure, rich style of wine. Henri is a self-taught winemaker who learned the craft himself and is inspired by Burgundy. Robust wines with typical Jura minerality, with enormous depth, freshness and Burgundian finesse.
Description: Nutty with fine acidity, mousse present but soft, mouth-filling.
Pairs well with: Aperitif and good with snacks such as oysters. This is Zoldering's house bubbly.
Fun fact: In the best vineyards of the Jura, you'll find the same composition of clay and limestone as the Grand Crus in Puligny, Vosne-Romanée, and Petrus in Pomerol.
