After a career in science, Henri le Roy decided to buy a domaine in the village of Vincelles, near JF Ganevat! He immediately gained access to a handful of exceptional plots such as 'Les Clous' and 'Derrière la Roche' on the famous marne bleu terroir. This results in a very beautiful, pure, rich style of wine. Henri is a self-taught winemaker who learned the craft himself and draws inspiration from Burgundy. Bold wines with typical Jura minerality, enormous depth, freshness, and Burgundian finesse.
Description: Aged in oak, balanced wine, tension from the acidity, creamy, exotic fruit and ripe apple.
Pairs well with: Chicken, fried oily fish, shellfish.
Fun fact: In the best vineyards of the Jura, you find the same composition of clay and limestone as the Grand Crus in Puligny, Vosne-Romanée, and Petrus in Pomerol.'
