An Ortswein from one of the best and most famous communities in Graubünden. It owes its renown primarily to the Gantenbeins, who are almost neighbours of Hansruedi Adank here. That the terroir here is capable of great things has been proven many times over. A nearly Mediterranean climate during the day, but significantly cooler nights, perfect limestone soils. The Swiss Rhine Valley is as predestined for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay as Burgundy.
Description: A hint of pepper immediately comes to the fore, spicy, with fruit notes like berries and blackberries, firm tannins.
Pairs well with: Enjoy chilled with a nice piece of ribeye and your day can't go wrong.
Fun fact: Matured in new wood, which gives the wine's taste and aromas much more intensity.
