Weingut Hansruedi Adank is a small, family-run estate in Fläsch in Graubünden, Switzerland's easternmost wine region. Hansruedi and his sons cultivate their vineyards organically on the steep granite and slate slopes along the Rhine, in the sheltered valley of the Bündner Herrschaft. The Fläscher Pinot Noir is made from their best Spätburgunder vines, maturing in a combination of Burgundy barriques for a refined, elegant style that closely resembles the finest Burgundies.
Description: Bright ruby red with aromas of fresh cherry, raspberry, roses, spices, and a subtle minerality of granite and slate. Elegant and finely structured on the palate, with vibrant acidity, fine tannins, and a long, clean finish.
Pairs well with: Grilled chicken with wild herbs, mushroom pasta, veal escalope, or a Swiss cheese board with Appenzeller.
