A remarkable story from Alicante. According to Felipé Gutierrez de la Vega, Alicante was once the leading region for sweet wines (Fondillón) in Europe (around 1850). According to Felipé, these were unfortified wines with natural alcohol content reaching 15%. He did not fully agree with the Alicante D.O and decided in 2010, in consultation with his daughter Violetta, to leave the D.O. Violetta, trained in France, decided in recent years not to interrupt fermentation by using sulfites but by lightly fortifying the wines with alcohol.

Description: Aromas of white flowers, orange blossom, and roses, combined with fresh citrus such as lemon and a hint of mandarin, dry in style, with vibrant acidity and a light saline minerality that beautifully contrasts with the floral character. The fruit remains elegant and pure, without sweetness, and the finish is fresh, aromatic, and refined.
