A dynamic, young duo is active on the ancient, impressive vineyard terraces around Klingenberg: the Giegerich brothers from Grosswallstadt. When Klaus, the father of brothers Kilian and Philipp, took over the business in 1992, it was only 2.5 hectares. Today, they own 15.5 hectares, spread across Grosswallstadt, Rück, Wörth am Main, and Klingenberg. They are fully committed to Burgunders, as Spätburgunder, Frühburgunder, Weissburgunder, and Chardonnay make up 40% of the area.
Description: Dry and wonderfully fresh, notes of apple, green melon. It is a light wine with fine acidity.
Pairs well with: Fresh salad with, among other things, green apple and walnuts, but also delicious with ceviche.
Fun fact: Philipp received part of his training at the cult domain Weingut Keller from Rheinhessen.
