From Vosne-Romanée, Gérard Mugneret produces Pinot Noir with great precision and respect for the terroir. Even his Bourgogne is treated seriously: the grapes come from three plots around Vosne-Romanée and Chambolle-Musigny. 2020 was a warm and dry year with small yields, but precisely because of this, there was a lot of concentration. Mugneret managed to create a wine that remains powerful and remarkably fresh at the same time.

Description: Ripe cherries, red and dark fruit, earthy notes and a hint of spice. Juicy, concentrated and energetic, with fine tannins and a beautiful minerality.

Pairs well with: Duck, roasted chicken, veal, mushrooms or coq au vin.

Fun fact: Mugneret's Bourgogne Pinot Noir comes from four small plots totalling approximately 1 hectare. The domain emphasizes that this wine only truly shows its potential after 2 to 3 years of bottle aging. The 2020 is therefore now at a very interesting point.
