Gérard started his own winemaking business in 1973, taking over from his father René. However, part of the domain's production retained René's labels until 1986. Gérard and his wife, Françoise, complement each other perfectly; both driven primarily by a love of wine. This brought an extra touch of elegance and suppleness to the wines. The style became more gastronomic. Thanks to her social skills, Françoise developed sales to individual customers (who accounted for more than 70% of the domain's turnover).
Description: Supple with lots of red fruit, natural, notes of licorice with a spicy edge of cinnamon and pepper.

Fun fact: The domain grew with the addition of new plots (notably Savigny-lès-Beaune Les Gravains and Chambolle-Musigny Les Charmes).
