The still young couple Severin and Sabeth are well on their way to revitalizing the old family estate. They are fully focused on the vineyards and quality, by, among other things, immediately working with certified organic practices and applying biodynamic methods. Great value for money that immediately scored well with critics from the start. Since 2024, they've earned their third star with Falstaff and been nominated for "Newcomer of the Year."
Description: Delicate nose, apple, pear, subtle hint of white flowers, nectarine, melon, fresh and clear, slight richness, juicy fruit, a touch of chalk and minerality with fine acidity.
Pairs well with: Aperitif, snacks, grilled fish, and poultry.
Fun fact: The founders of this winery, many years ago, started with the name 'Gebrüder Mathis'. As a tribute, the name continues to exist in this way.
