The domain was founded in 1989 by François with a few hectares in Montlouis-sur-Loire. He approaches the specific vineyards as his own unique terroirs and was an early believer in their magic and richness. Organic certification soon followed in 1992 and biodynamic certification in 1999. Today, the domain spans 37 hectares of vineyards with 20 hectares of Chenin Blanc in Montlouis-sur-Loire, 10 hectares of Chenin Blanc in Vouvray, and the remaining 7 hectares are planted with Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Grolleau, Cabernet Franc, Côt and Pineau d’Aunis in the Touraine.
Description: Fresh, round and soft, long finish, very flavourful, high intensity.
Pairs well with: Shellfish, roasted eggplant with an Asian touch.
Fun fact: Although the wine comes from the heart of Vouvray and is made as such, it must be labelled as Vin de France.
