The estate, which in 1800 stretched between Castiglione Falletto and Monforte, was owned in 1800 by Spirito Zocca, a historic Barolo producer and exporter to Argentina. It was taken over in the early 1950s by Guido Fogliati, who continued his own production. After his death, the vineyards were still cultivated, but wine production stopped and the grapes were sold to famous Barolo producers.

Description: Aged for 30 months in wood, slightly spicy, earthy, soft tannins and somewhat creamy.

Pairs well with: Wild boar, mushrooms, aged cheeses, ribeye.

Fun fact: The vines from which these grapes grow are more than 80 years old. This means a high-quality wine. And you can taste it.
