The name Egly-Ouriet has long been synonymous with high quality. When Francis Egly (1962) took over the family business from his father Michel in 1980 at a young age, he immediately focused on craftsmanship, working without pesticides, and with all the more patience. We can rightly count Egly among the first generation of champagne makers who have given so much vitality to the wine region.
Description: Powerful and fresh. Creamy structure with pear, toast, and honey.

Fun fact: The domain in the grand cru village of Ambonnay comprises over eleven hectares of vineyards, about three-quarters of which are planted with Pinot Noir. Chardonnay and Meunier make up the smaller part. Most of the vines are decades old.
