The name Egly-Ouriet has long been synonymous with high quality. When Francis Egly (1962) took over the family business from his father Michel at a young age in 1980, he immediately focused on craftsmanship, working without pesticides, and with more patience. We can rightfully count Egly among the first generation of champagne makers who have brought so much vitality to the wine region.
Description: Dry with a soft mousse and elegant. Toast, almond, and some grapefruit fruitiness.
Pairs well with: Festive moments, so basically always suitable.
Fun fact: All Egly-Ouriet Cuvées rest for three years in the cellar before being released to the market, allowing the wine to achieve its complexity, better aging potential, and a better expression of its terroir. For this reason, the dosage is very low.
