The winery was originally run by Bernard Boisson together with his wife (maiden name Vadot), under the name Domaine Boisson–Vadot. The family has been active in Meursault for over 200 years, and in the late 90s, Bernard established himself as a reference in the region. In 2016–2017, Bernard retired and handed over the estate to his children Anne and Pierre Boisson. The original estate of about 8–10 hectares was divided equally: Pierre received approx. 3.5 ha, Anne approx. 1.5 ha, the rest was managed jointly.
Description: Earthy notes, but also raspberry and cherry, soft spices and slightly smoky on the nose; on the palate, elegant red fruit, earthy, generous, fresh, and juicy.
Pairs well with: Grilled meat, game, mushrooms, cheese.
Fun fact: This wine is aged in old oak barrels (often second or third use), making the woody notes subtle
