Marie-Pierre Manciat currently runs the estate founded by her parents. Her father's family owned vineyards in the Mâcon appellation, and her mother's family owned vineyards in the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation. Today, the estate owns approximately 12 hectares of vineyards, and Marie-Pierre's philosophy is that the wines are made in the vineyard. Therefore, much attention is paid to the vineyards and the vines.

Fun fact: After the harvest, the grapes are pressed immediately, and the débourbage takes about 24 hours. No yeasts are added for the alcoholic fermentation. If it is necessary to filter before bottling, this is done with bentonite.
