Madame and Monsieur Bertrand are the delightful owners of Domaine de Malavieille in the Languedoc. Both come from a family of winemakers. The estate has been in the family since 1793. Madame Bertrand's father worked organically and naturally, without the use of artificial fertilizers and chemical pesticides. This method has been continued by her and her children. Under the influence of Monsieur André Bertrand, biodynamics was introduced to the estate, based on the conviction of using nature to achieve balance in the soil and vineyard. Since 2003, the wines have been AB (Agriculture Bio) labeled and since 2005, Demeter certified. Their son Benoît has now joined the team.
