Domaine de Bellivière was established in 1995 along the banks of the Loir River. Bellivière has been farming organically since 2005, with official certification following in 2008. By 2011, they were even working according to biodynamic principles. Son Clément has been at the helm of this winery since 2015. The estate covers approximately 10 hectares, spread across 5 communes in the AOC Jasnières and the AOC Côteaux de Loir. All grapes are hand-picked.
Description: Soft as honey and beeswax, light sweet notes, lots of fruit such as pear, melon and quince, and has matured for approximately 10 months in wooden barrels.
Pairs well with: Spicy dishes, but also with pâté, cheese and fresh desserts.
Fun fact: Domaine de Bellivière exclusively uses Chenin Blanc for their white wines.
