Celler Cisteller, currently the most talked-about project in Penedès, has attracted the attention of sommeliers from all over the world. However, according to Wine-Searcher, their wines have yet to make their debut in the UK or the US, suggesting they are a relatively undiscovered gem. Jessica Madigan and Sergi Canals met in 2015 while studying viticulture and oenology at the University of California in Davis. Over the years, they travelled the world, participating in more than 15 vintages in regions such as Burgundy, Central Otago, Mosel, Rioja Alavesa, and Priorat. These experiences laid the foundation for Cisteller, which officially began in 2019 with the construction of a family winery.
