Cisteller 'Lucidity 2022'

Celler Cisteller, currently the most talked-about project in Penedès, has caught the attention of sommeliers worldwide. However, according to Wine-Searcher, their wines have not yet debuted in the UK or the US, suggesting they are a relatively undiscovered gem. Jessica Madigan and Sergi Canals met in 2015 while studying viticulture and oenology at the University of California, Davis. Over the years, they traveled the world, participating in over 15 vintages in regions such as Burgundy, Central Otago, Mosel, Rioja Alavesa, and Priorat. These experiences laid the foundation for Cisteller, which officially began in 2019 with the construction of a family winery.

Fun fact: The vineyard is located in the Serra del Montmell, at an altitude of 450 meters above sea level. The vineyard is on calcareous clay with deep soils.
