Château Tirecul La Gravière ' Madame 2021 0.5L '

Château Tirecul La Gravière is the absolute pinnacle of Monbazillac, cultivated by Claudie and Bruno Bilancini on 16 hectares of organic vineyards along the Dordogne. Cuvée Madame is the selection of the very best noble rot grapes from the estate—only made in exceptional years and in minuscule quantities. Fermentation and aging take place entirely in new oak and can last up to 24 months. The grape bunches are not destemmed, so the stems act as a drain during the slow pressing. The result is one of France's most glorious sweet wines.

Description: Deep golden in color. Overwhelming aromas of candied apricot, dried fig, saffron, cinnamon pastry, and an elegant balsamic edge. Incredibly rich and complex, yet always refined by its crisp acidity. Extremely long finish.

Pairs well with: Foie gras, Roquefort, rich desserts based on almonds or exotic fruits, or simply on its own as a meditative pleasure.
