Château Tirecul La Gravière ' Le Pins 2024 0.5L '

Château Tirecul La Gravière is the undisputed top estate in the Monbazillac appellation, located on the left bank of the Dordogne in the Périgord. Claudie and Bruno Bilancini organically cultivate their 16 hectares on chalk and clay soils, where botrytis cinerea develops exceptionally slowly and delicately due to the unique amphitheater climate. Les Pins is the estate's most accessible sweet wine, made from younger vineyards. A blend of Sémillon and Muscadelle, vinified with the same care and attention as the estate's top wines.

Description: Golden yellow, full-bodied and juicy, with aromas of honey, orange marmalade, apricot and blossom. Sweet yet light-footed, with a fresh acidity that keeps the wine remarkably crisp and refreshing.

Pairs well with: Foie gras, aged cheeses such as Roquefort, fruity desserts or simply as an aperitif.

Fun fact: Bruno Bilancini is convinced that Monbazillac's Muscadelle grape is superior to Bordeaux's, because the local vines are almost virus-free - which contributes to their exceptional quality.
