In the heart of Provence, on the northern slopes of the Montagne Sainte-Victoire near the village of Jouques, lies Château Revelette. A remarkable estate that has been managed by Peter Fischer since 1985. Originally from Germany, Peter moved to California in his younger years where he worked as a cowboy, but he found his true calling in viticulture. After studying oenology at UC Davis and gaining experience at wineries in Sonoma, he returned to Europe. He eventually settled in Provence, where he took over Château Revelette – an estate with a long wine history and a remarkably cool microclimate for the region.
Description: Nicely juicy, fine bitterness, beautiful sweet-sour balance, spicy finish, long aftertaste, pleasant style.
Pairs well with: Summer! Aperitif, raw fish, vegetarian snacks.
