Chateau Latour is one of the oldest wineries in France. Located in the heart of the Medoc, just 300 meters from the banks of the Gironde, the vines are continuously influenced by both the river and the Atlantic Ocean. Over time, this has had a great impact on the composition of the soil and has given it the complexity for which Latour's terroir is known. In addition, the proximity of the large body of water ensures a tempered temperature and protects the vineyards from extreme cold.
Description: Ripe fruit, cassis, tobacco, cedarwood and a light spicy note. On the palate, the wine is powerful, full-bodied and well-structured, with firm tannins and a long finish.
Pairs well with: Grilled meat, game dishes.
Fun fact: The wine is considered one of the best second wines of the Bordeaux region.
