Château Lastours dates from the 18th century and is run by the de Faramond family. Young Comte Louis is now the third generation of the old landed gentry family de Faramond. The Gaillac region is located in Southwest France, 50km northeast of Toulouse. The vineyards, mostly on poor gravel soil, are located in the hills around the town of Gaillac and on the banks of the Tarn. The climate combines Atlantic and Mediterranean influences.
Description: Forest fruit, cherries, classic, low tannins, supple and deliciously juicy.
Pairs well with: Steak tartare, cheese, salads with grilled vegetables.
