Mouraz, located in the heart of the Dão region, is António's birthplace, where his family has cultivated vineyards for generations in a holistic and ecological way. This is also a place where the landscape and terroir are shaped by the people and geography, with old and new vineyards alongside pine, oak, chestnut, and cork trees in a wild forest. This diversity is reflected in the personality and complexity of Casa de Mouraz wines and mirrors their love for the place.
Description: Dark fruit, spices, tobacco, cocoa, powerful, spicy, and robust.

Fun fact: During the large Portuguese forest fires that made international headlines, António's childhood home, the storage facility, and some of their most beautiful vineyards went up in flames. Hard work is now underway to rebuild and replant the estate.
