Upon visiting Nicolas Mariotti Bindi, you immediately realize: a future great, for he is bright, humorous, dedicated, and passionate about wine. He knows exactly what he wants and what he is capable of. Superb organic wines from (clay/limestone) terroir in Patrimonio, though often declassified as Vin de France. Born and raised in Corsica, Nicolas studies law in Paris, then suddenly decides to return to make wine. He apprentices in Patrimonio with Arena, Giudicelli, becomes chef de culture at Leccia, and is allowed to make his own wine from old vineyards granted to him.
Description: Mouth-filling without being heavy, mineral, saline, lively, rich style, spicy, fresh, and fine acidity.
Pairs well with: pasta with cream sauce, sea bass, lobster, chicken paella, fresh soft cheeses.
Fun fact: This specific cuvée comes from the Mursaglia plot, located on clay-limestone soils in the heart of the Patrimonio appellation. The vines are carefully planted via massal selection and organically managed, with great attention to the expression of terroir.
