The story of two friends and a love for wine. Fabrizio Borgogno and Stefano Carbone jointly run an import company for French producers. They also own the Osteria More e Macine restaurant in La Morra. The two friends then decide to produce wine, partly thanks to Fabrizio's family vineyards in Verduno, in the Barolo area. Rocche dell'Olmo is a small plot of land located on the hills running from Verduno towards La Morra, at an altitude of about 350/400 meters in a predominantly sandy area.
Description: Bright red, rose, red berries, fresh mineral, slightly spicy, firm tannins.
Pairs well with: Lamb, beef, BBQ vegetables, blue cheese.
Fun fact: The soils are of marine origin from the Tertiary era and are characterized by bulging bluish marl and lean, calcareous, compact landscapes.
