Valle Camertina, in the heart of the Marche region. This is the only valley in the region that is protected from sea winds and thus enjoys a temperate climate. Collestefano is nestled among private vineyards above Castelraimondo at 450 m above sea level. The surroundings consist of nothing but fields. The story of the Marchionni family, the owners of Collestefano, is a path of redemption. As a farming family, the Marchionnis arrived in Rustano di Castelraimondo (MC) in the Verdicchio di Matelica valley in the 1960s. This hardworking family managed to acquire the small hilltop village, always called "Collestefano," in 1978.
