“Oh, a bar like that. A bar with a low ceiling and no separate ladies' room…” Herman van Veen's words still resonate in our philosophy. At Zoldering, on Utrechtsestraat in Amsterdam, we bring back something of that old, cosy Amsterdam bar. Personal, warm, accessible. Food and drinks you really crave, without frills. Since our start in April 2019, that has always been the idea.
From wine list to wine rack
What started as a dream has now taken root in multiple locations across the city. We are delighted to have expanded the Zoldering team with our own wine shop on Haarlemmerdijk, where we sell our favorite wines. Here, we offer a selection of our favorite wines, so you can enjoy the same quality you've come to expect from our restaurant in the comfort of your own home.
Never just a bottle from the shelf
In addition to our sommeliers who are in the shop daily, the sommeliers from Zoldering also help select wines or advise you. Whether you are looking for a wine that will impress at a dinner, a gift that is just a little more original than a bouquet of flowers, or simply a bottle that perfectly suits an evening on the couch with a good series: they will help you where needed.
Direct from the winemaker
At Lof, you'll find the wineries and wines we're truly proud of. These are our favourites and wines that we import ourselves. This means we know the winemakers, have visited the vineyards, and have tasted the wine. Whether it's crisp white, refined red, or sparkling: each bottle has its own character and story.
The Shop
You can find our wine shop Lof at Haarlemmerdijk 87 in Amsterdam. Here we offer a selection of our favorite wines, so you can enjoy the same quality you're used to from our restaurant at home. Pure, authentic European wines and aged Bordeaux, selected with the same care and attention that we also value in our restaurant. Visit our shop or view the assortment here in the webshop.
