He bought an ancient wine estate (built in the 18th century) against the foothills of the Vosges. In 1995, Tempé invested in large oak barrels, ranging from small to almost 6000 liters. Marc loves tradition. He is very clear about this, even when it comes to winemaking. To use his own words: \"Zéro trucage\" (zero tricks). Everything happens with minimal intervention and as few machines as possible. The only machine on the estate is the press. Some wines are released relatively late, for the simple reason that they ferment and mature in the barrels for more than 2 years.
