What he found were neglected terraces with old vineyards — Garnacha and Cariñena, some more than a hundred years old, rooted in the dark llicorella slate of Priorat. The Negre de Negres is the most approachable and candid wine from the estate: a blend of Garnacha, Cariñena and Syrah, aged for 12 months in French oak.
